COLORADO, IT’S TIME TO SHOW THE WORLD WHAT WE’RE MADE OF.
Early in the morning on August 6, 2016, while the world is sleeping, we’ll be lacing up our hiking boots. We’ll strap up, gear up, and hit the trails. Over five hundred men and women will be ascending peaks across the state, attempting to summit all 54 of Colorado’s Fourteeners in one day – with the goal of raising money to help end water poverty for over 1,000 families in Nicaragua.
If you’re an adventure-loving human who craves the crisp alpine air in your lungs, thrives in active community, and strives to have a positive impact in the world, we want you. Join us.
Pick Your Peak
There are 54 14ers and we need hikers on all of them. Will you be one of our fearless hikers this year? Pick your peak, sign up, and circle August 6 on your calendar in big red marker. It’s go time.
For exploring which 14er you’re up for climbing, we recommend the go-to resource for everything ’14er’, 14ers.com.

Through the ’54, we would like to help over 1,000 families in Nicaragua gain access to clean, safe drinking water this year. Success will not only be seeing teams wave their summit flag on Ascent Day, but knowing that for each participant, waving that flag means that the families in Nicaragua they supported through their campaign will gain permanent access to safe drinking water. Start by signing up and creating your personal campaign page, then get the word out to help your two families gain access to clean water this year!
Change the World.
Our vision is that over 1,000 families in North-central Nicaragua will get access to clean safe drinking water as a result of The Colorado 54. That means women and girls will be able to stop fetching water from the river in forty-pound buckets each day and have it come into their homes, clean and pure. We need you to make this happen!
